Can I Study Financial Management Without Matric?

No, it is not possible.

In order to register to study the first of the 4 Financial Management: NATED courses, Financial Management: NATED N4 National Certificate, you are required to have completed your Matric Certificate (National Senior Certificate).

For you to begin your studies for Financial Management, you need to have an education which is at NQF Level 4. A National Senior Certificate is at NQF Level 4.

If you do not have your National Senior Certificate (NSC), if you have either never completed your matric year or you failed, then you can register for an Adult Matric Certificate (Amended Senior Certificate).

If you successfully complete your Amended Senior Certificate (ASC) then you can register for your studies towards Financial Management. This is because an ASC and NSC are exactly the same and at the same educational level. Both are NQF Level 4.

Can I Study At A University With A N6 Financial Management?

No, unfortunately, you can not.

For those individuals who want to apply for admission to University, a National Senior Certificate with a Bachelor’s Degree Pass is needed. Beyond that, the admission requirements are not the same for every University.

This means that having an N6 Financial Management Qualification does not guarantee you admission to any University.
